The ongoing disruptions related to the Red Sea crisis have significantly impacted delivery times for shipments routed through these ports. Notably, the severe congestion in Singapore has led to vessel bunching, resulting in some carriers omitting their planned port calls. 

To manage this situation effectively, we recommend that our customers adjust their logistics planning. Allocating additional buffer time of 14-21days for time-bound deliveries, especially for cargo transshipping through Singapore or Port Klang, will help manage the expected delays.

At Swire Shipping, we are actively working to mitigate delays and maintain schedule integrity. We anticipate that these disruptions will persist. However, with our Pacific Weekly Express (PWX) service calling Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Fiji & New Caledonia from Port Klang and Singapore on a weekly basis, this will assist to minimise the delays to your cargo.
