Notice – Commencement of Vessel Sharing Agreement on our Australia-Pacific Islands (PIS) Service

30/04/2024

Swire Shipping would like to announce, subject to regulatory approval, the
commencement of a Vessel Sharing Agreement for its Australia to/from Pacific Islands
(PIS) Service, effective June 2024.

As part of the agreement, Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL) will deploy and operate
MV NPDL TAHITI on the Service, which will run in tandem with MV ARKADIA operated
by Swire Shipping. Currently operating alongside MV ARKADIA on the Service, MV
MELANESIAN CHIEF will be redeployed within the Swire Shipping network.

This arrangement and the change of vessel does not entail any adjustments to the
existing PIS Service structure, including port rotation, terminal arrangements and vessel
schedule. Customers can continue to enjoy the same fixed-day fortnightly product you
are familiar with today. An overview of the Service is included below.

Predetermined space allocations have been agreed on the Service. This ensures that
Swire Shipping has sufficient capacity to continue to meet customers’ needs.

All correspondences and communications (including cargo bookings) will also continue
to be managed by your local Swire Shipping representatives. Swire Shipping is
committed to maintaining the service levels that you have come to expect and enjoy.

These changes will take effect from MELANESIAN CHIEF V.2415N, ETA Sydney 19
June. The voyage will be renamed NPDL TAHITI. Affected customers with bookings on
MELANESIAN CHIEF V.2415N and thereafter will be contacted by your local Swire
Shipping representative.

Swire Shipping remains deeply committed to our customers and communities in the
South Pacific, and to this end, to ensuring the continuity of our direct liner shipping
services between Australia and the Pacific Islands. This transition will be carried out as
seamless as possible so that you continue to enjoy the same high levels of service and
reliability that you have come to expect.

Thank you for your support.

For general enquiries or for further information, please contact your local Swire Shipping
representative.
